Stylized archer standing facing, holding large bow pointing to the right in his left hand; to left, three pellets. Cf. HGC 12, 512 (for prototype). Zeno-157511. Very rare and nicely toned. Minor flan crack and with light corrosion, otherwise, very fine.


This intriguing issue derives from the 'Sogdiana Archer with Bow' type, depicting a diademed and bearded Parthian style bust on the obverse and an archer standing facing, holding bow in his left hand, on the reverse.
